  1. BikeMS will again be providing one of their famous Rest Stops (a traditional cycling-event-ride, break-point-style/SAG stop with fruits, snacks, sports drinks, etc.) at the Capitol this year.
  2. The event organizers want you to pre-register below (pre-registration remains free in 2010) for event head count, logistics planning, and insurance coverage reasons.  Only registered riders are covered by event insurance – so PLEASE register. You do not need to print and bring your pre-registration confirmation with you.
  3. While the event is free, sponsorship dollars are VERY hard to come by in the current economic climate, and rider support is encouraged.  Event organizers are asking for a $10.00 (or more) donation from riders and/or supporters of this great event. It is THE cycling advocacy ride of the year and the only one that attracts a significant number of mayors and other elected officials in support of better bicycling in Georgia.
  4. *** PLEASE NOTE! As of 2/23/10, police escorts HAVE BEEN finalized for the Roswell and Decatur routes. Cyclists on both routes will have police escorts to the Capitol. As in the past, the rides back are not escorted.
Pre-register by completing the following (pre-registration closes at 1PM, Monday, March 22nd).
